A partnership in fire safety with PROTEXER
At PROTEXER we believe fire safety is about partnerships.
By working with PROTEXER you will have access to decades of ’expertise in regulation and enforcement from within the Fire and Rescue Service.
Fire safety comes with significant responsibilities and can be a minefield at times. We are committed to supporting and protecting our clients for the long term.
We can support you in the beginning at the design stage of your building or project by providing you with a Building Regulation/fire safety compliance appraisal of your plans. Should the appraisal identify shortfalls in compliance we can also provide you with solutions or potential alternative approaches.
Prior to a building or project being occupied we can carry out pre-occupancy fire risk assessments to determine the fire life safety control measures you need to have in place prior to occupation. This is sometimes seen as a way of formulating a fire safety remediation snagging list to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Order or to improve life safety measures prior to occupation.
We can provide you with a fire risk assessment or strategy and thereafter at your request we will review your assessment or strategy to see if there have been any changes in your processes or premises or at regular intervals to ensure you are still meeting your legal requirements. To ensure you don’t spend unnecessarily we will always differentiate between legally required and a recommendation.
Have you received an unsatisfactory report after a fire service inspection and need some advice and guidance? We can work with you, review the fire service report, explore your options and put a remedial action plan in place to help you achieve regulatory compliance. We can be onsite and support you during fire service inspections if needed.
